Does Anyone Know What This Tree Is? (Photos)

Hi,

I am hoping to build a very small shed / garage, however in order to do so, I will have to move a tree (as per photos).

I have a few questions which hopefully someone can help with.

01 - Do you know what type of tree this is?

02 - Is it a tree that has large roots?

03 - Someone had suggested that this tree is not in good health, and that I should just cut it down. For those that are familiar with these type of trees, does it look unhealthy?

Looks like one of the cultivars of pittosporum ,perhaps you could look it up

It seems to match the leaves of what you said but I don't see any other trees that match the shape.

Would it be such a bad thing to cut it down?

Ive not seen one that large but its a pity to cut any tree down.

If you're going to cut it down, it may be worth noting that birds are starting to have young - their already hatching. I think it's actually illegal to deliberately cut down a tree or a hedge with hatchlings or eggs!
Can it wait til autumn?

Thank you. Yes it can wait. There are plenty of birds around my house, but I actually don't see many going near this tree, but will wait.
