Does this plumbing look correct? I’ve got a bad smell coming from the washing machine - kind of from behind- and there’s lots of gurgling in the sink

Can water from my sink be draining into the washer?

The waste hose from the washer should be looped up so the top is against the worktop.

This is to prevent dirty water from the sink running down the pipe into the washer.

Your first loop is going down, so stagnant water will lie in it.

Your actual waste pipe appears to be on the left, and is quite high. Dirty water will lie in all pipework below the height of the waste trap outlet.

Which includes the washer hose.

I expect there is a T joint that is not visible.

If re-routing the pipework doesn't fix the problem then it might be down to biological contamination inside the machine drum. You can get proprietary cleaners that will provide temporary alleviation if that's the problem.

Adjust washing machine drain hose, so it rises as high as possible underneath the sinks, and falls to the outlet, this ensures when the machine pumps out the water gets away, and secondly, when sink is discharged, the waste water cannot run back into your washing machine. Having said that, the current Trap looks to have too high an outlet for that setup, so the appliance spigot will sit full of dirty water constantly, might be worth changing the spigot for an angled version, e.g. https://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-hose-connector-40mm/48625

Once that's sorted, advise you put an empty washing machine on a Boil Wash with a suitable cleaning compound in it, e.g. soda crystals.

Get a proper 11/2 sink trap by mcalpine.
As said, raise the drain hose.

Cannot see the reason for fitting two traps under the sink

Thanks so much - I’ll get someone out to have a look and re arrange things - think the two traps were because they’re was a dishwasher originally in other side of sink maybe

I would look to put a cap on that uncapped isolation valve in case it’s knocked open under the sink and allows water out.
