Our Bathroom door wont stay open, ie once opened and let go of, it just closes itself. I tired removing the hinge pins and putting a very slight kink in them (A common idea from YouTube) and that worked, but after a while the hinges started to creak annoyingly as the door tried to close itself, and after a quick squirt with WD40, the door is back to normal and swiftly closes.
It has done this ever since we changed the original carpet to a laminate, now the laminated has been chaneged to a cushion floor and the bathroom redecorated, id like to sort this dam door issue once and for all, What do you learned chaps suggest. Somebody suggested a shim or two between the frame and the door hinge....?
