Hi I really need to disable the buzzer on my intercom but keep the lock option which enables the opening of the main door .
can you tell me which wires to disable and also should the blue wire be attached

You can’t without disabling the speech paths ….if your not wanting the speech path disconnect one of the wires to the speaker

A few years ago, a client asked me to fit a new Videx handset, the old one had a buzzer, the new one generated the buzz through the ear piece and was very quiet. From memory, I took the old buzzer and and crammed it into the new handset- which is opposite of what you want to do.

If your's is the newer type, you will have to disable the ear piece.
