Dormer Repairs

Hi Chaps.
Could somebody please tell me the term for a covering for a
flat roof.
I think its something like the fibre glass we used to use on our
old cars and the finish is grey.
I'll be much obliged for your help.

Ref. the prices for the work described. There is no way that we would do either quotes for such cheap prices. Figure for labour only £200 per man per day. Thats for any respectable one man band or small jobbing builders.

All roofing, esp. ladder work should be two man work.

The cost to go legally self-employed has been worked out ( quite a few times ) as, at minimum: £35/hr. Anything below that, go cards-in, go work for someone.

Example:
Labour: £100
Materials £100
Overhead £100
Profit @ say, 15% = £45

The thing is , that once you go self-employed you work for profit.

Total cost £345
