This was my experience. My wife and one son caught covid recently, but me and other son tested negative throughout (9 tests for me!). But, me and other son had sore throats and felt a bit run down a week before wife and youngest showed symptoms, suggesting that we might have had it - likely, as half his year were already in isolation.

Assuming I had it, my immune system fought it off before I got tested - battle probably won on the front line that is the throat.

I think ellal's point is that a double jabbed (like myself) person is just as likely to pass on covid as an unjabbed (ellal?) person, which defeats the point of a vaccine passport. You may not suffer with the bug, but you can spread it.

It's not quite that simple, because even if people who've caught Covid-19 can have similar levels of the virus you're still less likely to catch it in the first place.

But it does make the vaccine passport concept less useful, just not useless as Ellal believes.

It's why we should have mandatory vaccination. We're not going to stop people getting infected so we need them to be vaccinated so they don't tie up hospital beds.
