Double moon

My best guess is that the green moon is an artifact; maybe a reflection from inside a lens barrel.

My guess too. I can get the exact same effect when I wear my glasses which have an anti-reflection coating and if you look at something at the right angle you get a green reflection on the inside of the lenses.
