The soil pipe bend (where it goes into the sewer) from my toilet has been leaking and seeping under the kitchen floor, rotting it obviously over a long time. Buried in concrete in a corner in the garage so opted for a patch reline which so far has worked.
But he didn't dry it first just used a fast setting cure and it was ready in an hour!! He did show me via the camera. Looked good. And fully cured in 24 hours but no restrictions on using the toilet.
My question is is that an ok method? Everything I read says they dry it first. And it did cost £570!! Easy access from the manhole, 1 hour's work. Just been done.
The carpenter is charging £750 for a very small kitchen floor but that's actual work and skill.
