Hi, new to this forum so appreciate any advice!
About a year ago, I had some damp issues in my garage roof, which is below a first-floor room with a balcony. Got a builder to come in and lift the balcony tiles and add lead flashing to help with waterproofing the balcony.

Since then the room with the balcony doors has felt drafty, especially where the flashing extends inside the room, I've added pics of the gaps. The contractor has ghosted me, so I’m on my own with this now.
Is there anything I can do to fix it myself, or should I get a pro to take another look?

I’ve attached some pictures—any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Get a joss stick and run it round the doors to see where the draught is coming from. It may be around the frame.

Post photos of the troublesome areas, inside and out.

The "builder" has done a very clumsy and incompetent job.

Ask around friends, neighbours and other local tradesmen for recommendations of an independent local carpenter or window repairer. Try to look at examples of their work.

Advertising websites, where people pay to be listed, are not recommendation sites. Some of them should not be well rated, and have very chequered records.

Thanks John. At the time the guy had to 'lift' the patio doors and raise them up, so the whole double door frame was removed and put back in. Was at nightmare at the time even getting him to come back our and reseal the inside panels to the wall...The gap is the whole way along across the bottom of the door is where the breeze is coming under.

One thing that jumped out at me straightaway is the drainage slots were under some sort of trim piece going by the siicone line along the bottom, where was that water draining to, was it going backwards under the frame(very likely).
