All this talk about drilling holes in pipes reminds me of a client that I was called to a few years ago.
The kitchen floor was under about 50mm of water from a hole in a pipe under the floor which the owner had accidently drilled.
On assessing the situation, I pointed out to the owner that as well as the water leak there were also three points where small bubbles were coming up to the surface.
He had also drilled into a gas pipe and had not noticed until he covered the floor with water!
