Fairly new to all this stuff and would like to ask a dumb question....

When a drill refers to drilling capacity of 13mm steel, 30mm concrete - can i assume it means the diameter of the hole and not the depth?

The drilling depth is limited to how long the bit is  (within reason)

Great. It seemed reasonable to assume this, but i did'nt want to just get a longer bit, and knacker the drill!

Cheers for the help!
