Drive entrance gates

I got Zinc Phospate Primer and undercoat today.

I have applied one coat of Zinc Phospate Primer to each gate and i need to leave it at leat 12 hours before painting again.

Should i apply undercoat now?

Should I apply another coat of ZP or just apply one coat of undercoat then leave to dry as per tin before applying 2 coat of gloss?

I have now applied 2 coats of undercoat to the gates.

Should I apply the black and gold finishing coats or should I wait until they have been hung before doing so?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Gates finished and hung looking really well very pleased with them and everyone has commented on them even neighbours.

I finally applied a coat of Zinc Phosphate, 2 coats of undercoat and I have only one coat of gloss applied. I wanted to apply another coat when they were finally hung but it has been raining since!!
