I leave the house about 7.25.... get to a junction on dual carriageway.... inside lane turn left or go straight on.... lane 2 straight on only........... now I turn left where there will be average 40-50 cars.... lane 2 average 10 cars.... when the lights change you have about 12 cars going through.... lane 2 now clear but the morons still wait in the inside lane to go straight on........... and it is mainly a certain sex................. rant over

It's the growing trend of drivers in the Left hand lane on Round-a-bouts turning right (say third exit or more). Not only frustrating but also dangerous. Where has that come from?

Drivers who beep pedestrians crossing the road while they turn in to a side road. Drivers who block the pavement exiting fuel stations or driveways. Is it really so inconvenient to wait 10s?

Or two lane traffic islands where a motorist decides to take a straight line across rather than stay in lane. These motorists are always shocked when honked at, to see someone on their inside.

We have road works outside work which are controlled by 4 way temporary traffic lights. If you are coming from the left and going straight on you have to swerve to the right to get around the bollards and then move back to the left once you have crossed. This week alone I have seen 4 drivers, (of both sexes), drive through a very narrow gap in the bollards and found themselves almost tipping into a deep trench. The gap is barely wide enough to get a car through! The strange this is, on the other side of the trench are big mounds of earth, gravel and sand!

Ah you've met my wife.

The HC assumes drivers know that pedestrians always have right of way. So they don’t point out specifics.

We’ll rule 170 makes it clear you must stop and allow them to cross (give them priority). But in all cases a motorist has a duty of care that is not reciprocated. So if you could stop and don’t, then expect a nice personal injury claim heading your way.
