Driveway probs.

I phoned up today to arrange a visit tomorrow morning to sort this mess, but custard said he has had a go with his jet washer and it's not shifting.

It's concrete with a gloss coating on it He says, I don't know what that means but I hope it's not too expensive to sort, I can't afford this but have to sort out for them.

I think our drive is like that. A sort of fake block pattern marked out on concrete, coloured and then a shiny coat.
I'd hope the 'gloss' coating would help a bit and reduce the sticking power of the Bonding maybe.

If it's in blobs, then maybe a wallpaper scraper or something like that may help.
I use the little abrasive green pads to get stuck Bonding out of buckets, and works well. (edit: with lots of water too!)
Tho should you need to resort to scraping or abrasive stuff.... I have found a concrete drive like this can be prone to chipping on the corners of the block pattern.
When we had to clear the snow last year, I managed to chip it in a few places when using the spade. Just a warning.
Good luck.

perhaps he was holding the pressure washer the wrong way around, it can be a bit of a git to get bonding to stick to surfaces that you want it too, let alone a surface you don't want it too, with a shiny gloss surface like the drive which yu described, I would imagine it would leave of it's own accord as soon as it dried. ( I have laid onto old black mortar without proper preperation and returned to find a wall covered in 50p sized pieces of bonding :( )

The amount I am talking about is just a few bit's , not even a palm full but I guess it must have stained/stuck on the driveway,
I have thought,, that the bloke although he tried to shift it with a presssure wash did'nt do it properly , maybe!!

I will have to do it the squeegie way :D .

I can't fully say what the damage is untill I have had a look , and that isn't till the snow melts off it.

It is a scenario I would never have thought of , thats why I thought a few wisps of bonding( maybe a whisker of cement) could cause, but then I was too keen to get away from that job to realise the implications,, Totally my fault and I will sort it for them, I just hope it doesn't cost too much if I have to call some drive experts in as I have no knowledge of these drives myself.

Thanks chaps for your help tho, it's always good to get some advice , and you lads practically live in ( cement/bonding) the stuff  so who better to ask eh. ;)
