I have both anyway but according to the Essex Police, I don’t actually need a flyer ID because my drone is under 250g. I only needed an operator ID as it has a camera.

240g with the battery. The other two batteries are the same weight. I think you’re getting confused with the mini 4K and the mini 4 Pro. Extended capacity batteries can be bought for the mini 4 Pro (but not the mini 4K) and they take it over the 250g weight and into another class of drone. Flyer ID's are compulsory for drones over that weight.
Might be having my first outside flight today. Going to take it with me when I walk the dog and if it’s not to windy, up it will go!

You get to learn very quickly that the wind is very different the higher you go as opposed to ground level.
I have the earlier version with extended batteries and it comes in at 265gm.
Then up to 275gm with landing struts, motor covers and strobe.
Had to get both licences anyway as the pro 2 comes in at just under 1kg.
And as matty said, some people can get annoyed even when you are using it correctly.
I always carry a double sided laminated card size copy with each license, and it works wonders showing something people can see is official.
I've even had people asking to watch it on the tablet screen I use, which is btw a lot better than a phone screen.
