National Institute for Clinical Excellence, declares drugs for dementia too expensive to be prescribed on NHS.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. More to the point, what else have they held back? I'm sure that there are other medicines that have been found for thousands of illnesses that have been shelved because of cost, and how many lives have been lost because of it. And it always affects those who cannot afford to pay for private care. We spend more money and resources on weapons and EU directives, and not enough on our own nation.
Got to find the cash for their pay rises from somewhere.

Government spokesperson on the telly last week said we are not to blame for this. We set up an independant body (presumably National Institute for Clinical Excellence) to oversee these area's.

So there you have it, the Government is not to blame even though they set up NICE and gave them their remit.

Talk about wriggling out of responsibility.

Guess we only have to look at old Blankett ... Given every chance and allowance, more than most ..... But he did not hesitate to take advantage of a another in a vulnerable position, given the opportunity ......
There was a tv program called 'Loose Women' wasn't there ?
History will tell the tale-- unless written by Gordon Browns under-secretary the laughing boy.....
