Update, I emailed to camcel pointing out that they originally said ‘fully insured’. They wrote back a quite apologetic email saying that although they are fully insured they dont like to make claims (?!), therefore wanted a disclaimer. The good news is, they sent my deposit straight back. As you have all said, a bullet dodged, i think! Phew.
