My flat is heated by 6 storage heaters and last night they didn't come on (they had come on the night before).
The consumer unit has a row of fuses for usual, lights, ring main, etc labelled Power and Lighting, then there is 3 separate fuses below labelled Heaters, I checked these fuses and they are ok.
I know the main fuses have a constant electric supply to them, but how are the storage heater fuses fed? They can only have access to the electric supply during the economy 7 period, I have a digital electric meter and a black box labelled, "radio teleswitch". Is it the radio teleswitch box that's responsible for feeding the Heaters supply and who might be responsible for any problems with it, is it me the consumer or is it the supplier of the electricity?
