I've a high tech carbon fibre deep cycle battery, 12 volt which seems to have given up the ghost, won't hold charge.

It's the expensive types used in solar power applications and I'd like to try to get it back up and working. It's only been used once and then stored, albeit for a couple of years. Charged up on occasions.

Anyone have any tried and tested means to bring back to life or any detailed knowledge or experience with these or similar batteries?

i would say if its not been constantly used its time to get rid of it  batteries onlly have a certain working shelf life

deep cycle should be fine to flatten and then charge.. but two years?

how many volts is it? and how many across terminals at moment?

what sort of charger are you using?
