I am changing my garage doors (2) this week and have a question about "fobs"
At the moment I am using a four button fob to control two garage doors and a Ditec LCA 70 electric gate
The suppliers of the doors will be giving me control of the garage doors using their "four button" fob but cannot get involved with the electric gate.
The question is can't I get the new fobs to pair with the old fobs? (I might not have used the right phrasiolgy)
The Ditec control box must have its own receiver which the fobs I am using (not the origional) connect to, if not whats the way forward?
Thanks

I have asked for that but they say there are warrenty issues,
But did they say they were compatible but they would not do it or is it a case of the two receivers are not compatable with the fob. You can have fixed or rolling frequencies on these things and the 2 will not mix. What make is the door controller. Your gate controller appears to be a fixed 433MHz variety so if the door is the same you should be able to pair them by following the installation instructions supplied.

The fobs are Ditec ZEN4 which align with the Ditec gate control panel.
I checked the Gatemotes uk order, where I bought them 4 years ago and now remember
fitting the receiver in the old "Henderson garage door motor.
I will look at the new door motor info when they give me it as it connot be much of a job fitting receiver to new motor
Thanks

New door openers are Marantec, checked with their tech people and it accepts 3rd party receivers so back to the installers to come and fit it.
