And if it's a 32A 4mm² radial with a branch at the CU?
Well then his end to end test won't 'beep' will it?

i said that in the beginning lol (although could be a radial carring on from socket to the last socket)And if it's a 32A 4mm² radial with a branch at the CU?
Well then his end to end test won't 'beep' will it?
What test? It's obviously a ring in working order if there are two wires.

thats why i thought u was causing issues
2 wires indicate ring, but as a mobile home i wanted to be safe so ill do a test between the 2 lives and if i get a beep i can rest assure it is 100% a ring circuit its cause its a mobilehome n old i dnt trust it so im being safe
thanks anyway

That post was sarcasm. Just because two wires are present doesn't mean it's a ring, let alone an intact one. Two wires indicate nothing other than the presence of two wires.

Not if someone has accidentally wired the ring into a figure of 8 it wont be. It was my understanding that you need to test resistance of L1N2 and L2N1 at the CU to determine whether its a true ring?
THought so:

I really need to start using [sarcasm] tags.
