I have an Electrolux fan oven but the seal is coming away at the top,. There also appears to be a gap which I am not sure if meant to be or snapped. I have some wood stove rope glue that I was hoping would fix it being high temp ?

Thanks

Some seals are fitted via tension with a metal hook inserted inside to connect the ends. If it’s not under tension you could cut a sliver of metal (tin can would do) about 50-60mm long and slide it into the slot on either end ( glue would help ).
Failing that it’s a new seal .

Would stove rope glue be OK as an adhesive?

I'd say the seal is not meant to be fixed... check for the clip(s) missing or popped out of place? Also that the part is the correct one for your exact model.

Pattern part may be cheaper?

Thanks. Can't see any clips but there is traces of white on the rubber that has peeled away which I am assuming is adhesive.
