Musk has been flagged up as national security risk due to his links with China.
He has huge investments in China and lot of technology from the USA is used in his factories there.
His Shanghai Gigafactory is responsible for half of Teslas global deliveries.
Chinese law stipulates that the communist party can demand that companies who want to sell into Chinese markets must hand over intelligence.

Then there is his Space X companies which have a monopoly on US rocket launches,with the USA now in a space race with China and Musks dependence on the Chinese, it is feared American national security could be compromised.
