Got that, Kevin, it was just that after typing a message and wanting to change a word in the sentance to bold or italic, in some forums' software you can just hightlite the word and click on the code at the top of the message window and it will enter the start code at the begining of the word you hightlited and place the end code after the word.
In these forums, if you click a code it just puts the code after the last word you typed.
The same with smilies, on some forums you can place the cursor where you want the smilie and left click the place then click the smilie and it puts it where you wanted it.
Doing that on here and the smilie appears after what you have typed.

I have just checked a couple of other forum sites that work the way I described and noticed that both HTML and BB coding is on.
On the is site the BBCode is on but HTML is off.
That may be the difference.
