Can anyone explain in clear English what the "Entry/exit 2" zone attribute does in zone attributes 1 (page 51 or 57 in installation manual).

I've read the description in the Texecom installation manual but it's not explained very well.

It seems to be enabled by default for the "guard access" zone type.

It seems to only have significance if the area is part-armed.

What happens if it is de-selected?

Entry exit 2 has a different entry time ….example you set a garage door to entry exit 2 as you need more time to come in , due to the garage door taking more time to open …

The zone type e/e 2 is as above.

the attribute is for e/e 2 during part set, so its automatic on a guard access zone, this is so you can have a different entry time.

Have to be honest i have never checked if not used on the attributes if it uses e/e 1 as the timer or it just becomes a guard zone.

At default the timers are set to the same value for each area.
