hello, this is my first post here and as its not car related it may be a bit sketchy from me.

in basics i have an issue regarding the boiler (Ideal icos HE24)

went to have a shower monday of last week and the hot water went from cold, hot then cold, pressure seemed to drop then come back along with hot but the drop when cold.
i went to look at boiler (shower still running) see that the pressure gauge had dropped to around 0.5 bar then would shoot up to just under 1.5 stay for a bit then drop or flicker, had lots of clicking from the boiler too.
when i turnt off the shower the pressure sat at around 0.7bar, i topped it up to just under 1.5bar, over the week the pressure has dropped very slightly, shower still has its flids of hot to warm and feels like pressure is dropping when it goes warm and still the needle on the gauge flicks about a bit.
i did notice that we had a dripping tap in the kitchen has been dripping for a long while....when using the shower this week i noticed the drip sped up and also since last week the drip has been more frequent.
today i changed the valves in the tap both hot and cold drip has stopped but shower still the same

as far as i know the heating seems ok and hot water in kitchen seems fine but could be that the taps arnt ran for as long as the shower is used for

would appreciate any help i can get on this as i was in hope of it being related to the tap (as it was the hot tap dripping)

The icos is either heat only or system boiler so would not cause the shower to run hot and cold, the isar is the combi version.

sorry just seen this, iv just been out and looked under the boiler, there is a sticker saying isar HE30 under it so i now asume thats the boiler i have and both the book i have and all things i have seen and told by the fitter is incorrect lol

any ideas what the issue could be?
i had a plumber out last week to service it and he says it all seems ok, i go on holiday on monday for the week.
plumber is going to cam back though

When was this boiler fitted by this dozy plumber?

The plate heat exchanger is likely to be blocked up because he did not power flush the system.

boiler was installed when the flats had been built around 4.5 years ago, iv owned the place since new, never had an issue with it till the last few weeks
