there is no contradiction.

Where havent I made my mind up?
what have I denied saying?

Here's one from this very morning; you didn't even wait for your next post, before shifting shifted the goalposts

the majority of people want to work.

there are plenty of industrial regions in this country which have been left behind -due to decades of neoliberal right wing ideology.

you actively support a right wing ideology that takes away decent jobs, then you moan people arent working.

if you want people to work and to have decent jobs, create a fairer society where the poor have more opportunity, better education. Then make sure the poor areas of this country have investment.......guess what they are the policies of the Left. Andy11 is a secret socialist -he wants everybody to have a decent job.

From "the majority want to work", which is unequivocal, to the very clear implication that the majority want to work provided it is a decent job.

The funny thing is, we all take the mickey out of Trump for all sorts of reasons.

However, while Johnson was NOT ordering PPE from a company in this country, Trump was.

Who's the idiot now?

I genuinely feel the Government should be held responsible for the deaths of UK health and care workers.

oh dear, you've added in the word 'provided' in order to make your argument.

It would seem you have a comprehension issue, please try reading more carefully

I had to, as what you wrote didn't make sense.
You did however, write decent (referring to jobs) three times in your short post.

It's all there for anyone to see.
@durhamplumber was bang on the money, when he said you'd wriggle.
He was also correct when he said you'd deny.
:ROFLMAO:

Seems that common sense might prevail.

UK seeks access to EU health cooperation in light of coronavirus

"The British government is quietly seeking access to the European Union’s pandemic warning system, despite early reluctance to cooperate on health after Brexit, the Guardian has learned.

The UK is seeking “something akin to membership” of the EU’s early warning and response system (EWRS), which has played a critical role in coordinating Europe’s response to the coronavirus, as well as to earlier pandemics such as bird flu. According to an EU source, this would be “pretty much the same” as membership of the system."

Although I thought it was a 'red line not to be crossed' that the UK wasn't going 'align itself' to the EU?

....... EU’s early warning and response system (EWRS), which has played a critical role in coordinating Europe’s response to the coronavirus

With Europe having been the epicentre of death for CV for weeks, hardly a glowing endorsement for the ewrs.
Besides, why would anyone need a dedicated "early warning system" for this sort of thing anyway, when it was all over the Internet late last year?
