Their facts are contradicted by the figures given by the UK.

Yes, the figures quoted in Notch7's link are from RoI. But they are not disputed by the UK Government web site that presented those figures.
If the UK Government had an inkling that the figures were not correct, I'm sure they would have said so.

I think you are conflating renegotiation with unilateral action.
If both parties to an agreement are prepared to renegotiate that agreement, there is no reason why it should not be renegotiated.
Whereas unilateral action is an action by one party without the agreement of the other party.

The thing is we negotiated the Irish thing agreed it and ratified it. No good stamping your feet and throwing the teddy out because you didn't read and understand what you negotiated and agreed to and don't like it anymore.

The reason Bozza and co want to tear up the NI protocol is because it makes Brexit look bad - which of course it is. NI still has access to Single Market, so they don't suffer the shortages we do. They had no fuel shortages and don't have any food shortages, etc, because they were easily able to change from doing business with Uk to Ireland. It's that old frictionless trade chestnut.

Also, the 'government' are worried that huge volumes of UK>NI trade are being lost, as NI is now buying much more from Ireland.

Saw a news item about a lorry driver taking lorry load of doughnuts (no not Brexers) from UK to Germany. Before they left here, they had to get a vet in to inspect them because they had cream in them.

We're becoming uncompetetive because of the extra red tape of Brexit and the aggro of traversing The Channel with all the extra bureaucracy. Red tape the Tories 'promised' would be reduced after Brexit - instead it has massively increased.

Had to laugh that a vet who studied hard for 5 years ends up checking doughnuts.

You are the one who is being dishonest, the link i quoted set out in detail why the Irish central office of statistics cannot be relied on to give out accurate information.
The author of the piece in the link was Paul Krugman a Nobel prize winning economist, he is neither Irish or British, so he can't be accused of bias.
He basically said that any economic statistics quoted by the Irish government are ******.
