EU unhappy with astrazeneca

The way I read the other contracts aspect is not doses but materials.

Given politics in general saying our contracts are solid really needs them to be published to show that they are.

Anyway specialist legal people are looking at it all currently. One thing that is certain is that the UK plant is specified as a source. What does ours say? Maybe it will be published.

It’s political

EU were in competent and are looking to blame others for it

prior to the fall out from unhappy member states

Scotland and Nicola sturgeon are pro EU

they can send there share of the vaccine to the EU

could well assist there member ship application as and when they gain independence

W H O

have condemned the EU s threat
To ban exports of vaccine as a dangerous precedent

Some EU states are un happy with the commissions handling of vaccine procurement

You need to get your keyboard fixed, the space bar is sticking.

Just an off the wall consideration??

Until [what was it] lunchtime today the AZ was not approved inside the EU?

Would that indicate that a non approved drug [could] have been imported to the EU given their strict border controls, remember ham sandwiches ??

All changed now following the long slow late approval by the EU

Yeah, taking sanctions against a country for not supplying something that they haven't approved and were claiming doesn't work and which they would fail to distribute in any case. You need to be pretty ****** up with that approach.

yeah, the only thing even more mad would be giving a £170 million contract to a small pest control company for supply of face masks

.........oh no, wait a moment, the Tory govt have already done that. :ROFLMAO:

Let’s face it the EU have f****d up big time

And are looking or weaselling for damage limitation

fact is they have production issues

at there plants

the EU have over ruled part of the Brexit deal as well reference Northern Ireland

over this vaccine caper just in case any vaccine is diverted to England

an un friendly act

but than again what do expect from the scoundrels in Brussels

If we had not left the EU, we would have still been part of the EU's purchasing and approval protocols, the AZ vaccine would not have been approved for use in the UK until today! How many lives will have been saved since being out of the EU we started using it 5 or 6 weeks ago and have probably dished out 4 or 5 million doses.
