I don't use parcel services very often, but can an Evri parcel be arranged for collection from and also delivery to - a parcelshop please?

I've tried starting filling in the details via their site, but it seems to be expecting a home collection and delivery address at both ends..

My Tesco Local seems to run an Evri collect/drop off and I doubt that they deliver house to house using Tesco?
Be warned that Evri are rebadged City Link ( I think) and bloody awful.

No, the plan is for me to deliver to local Coop, and for the parcel to be collected at the other end from a local Tesco.. I just couldn't see how you set up parcelshop at both ends, during a dummy run of the web form..

Have you tried booking via the app?

Might be an option available to account holders. I'd say get in touch with Evri customers services, but trust me there is no such dept'.

Can I collect a parcel from a ParcelShop?

If you’ve ordered from a retailer and know you won’t be in for a delivery you can choose to collect your order from your nearest ParcelShop, perhaps close to where you’re working.

Just select the Evri ParcelShop option at checkout, then find the ParcelShop that’s most convenient for you. Find your nearest ParcelShop.

You might have more luck with InPost, if there's one at each end in a convenient place.

Very good service, have used them lots of times. They're actually Evri too, the same company under two brands. InPost prices are often a bit less too.

Have had few issues with Evri/Hermes, have sent thousands of parcels with them in my business. No better or worse than any other, they all get slagged off online. In fact everything gets moaned about online, parcel companies, people, the state of the world etc etc...

Try Royal Mail online. Their site is easy to use-I use it to send 30-40 packs a month. Cheaper than using the post office, and they bring the printed labels with them, depending on service used. For larger parcels I use Parcelforce. I gave up with evri, hopeless in most aspects except our delivery bod.

I only send or order squashy unbreakable (like clothes) if using Hermes.

The item I need to send, needs to go to the likes of a parcelshop, because likely there would be no one in when the item was attempted to be delivered.

Just put the address of the parcel shop in delivery address. Ebay actually allow buyers to list a designated delivery place, anywhere that takes in parcels. I personally won't send to anywhere but the buyers home address. Ask the buyer where they want it sent.

It's not a buyer, rather some items I am trying to return. In Evri's booking form, as far as I went with the dummy order, it would not accept a parcel shop as the collection or delivery point..

You can't do this. It needs to be tracked as a click & collect, and there needs to be a code within the address.

If you send something to a shop it may be returned, or the shop staff may just keep the gift you've sent them.

Harry - have you looked at Inpost? I'm pretty sure it does what you need, if it will fit in a locker and there's one in a near enough place at each end.

Look up your nearest collection point online - mine's a newsagent - then take it to them, they scan it then send it for you, old bean.
