I didn't think the day could get much better after Bojo pulled off a deal, but get better it most certainly did.

I found this 'readers comment' on one site particularly amusing.

You'd lose that bet - most of XR were opposed to the action going ahead, and said so before the action. The groups directly involved decided to go ahead themselves, unfortunately.

What exactly does that mean?
I said that the organisers weren't likely to be on the train themselves.

He means that apparently the group who went off to the tube were not following orders! They had decided not to go to trains but these people went anyway.
Sounds to me like they're just trying to distance themselves as a PR exercise..
