Eye protection mists up

@Jupiter01 Just curious on 2 things. 1/ Do you use an extractor when soldering/cutting? The fumes are fairly dangerous and can have a cumulative effect on your lungs.
And 2/ Are you a youngster just starting out in your new home? Is this the reason for so many differing questions? Quite understandable if it is, but if you had explained this when you first started posting then you may avoid questions like Andy, quite understandably, asked earlier. This is not a dig at you, we all want to help, but it gives us a better understanding if we know what sort of knowledge/experience you have in the DIY field.

Hi Conny, I am a DIY enthusiast who likes to roll his sleeves up! This forum has ben invaluable for advice. I am grateful for that.
- I don't use an extractor but try to open windows and doors as much as possible. Also, I probably solder once every 4 months on average
- I am not a youngster! 40 but young at heart :) Always doing something around my house and inevitably get drawn into helping parents from time to time...

I appreciate that the context helps but should I be posting this with every question I post on here?

Nice to have a bit of background.
No, no need to post with every question. A lot of us have seen some of your posts, and even tried to help answer them, so we now know why you ask so many.
We all have to learn from scratch at some time and a lot of people will only do the things they know whereas, the more elderly of us, have reached a stage were we will branch out and try/research areas outside our 'comfort' zone that we wouldn't have done when we ere younger.
In my opinion there is no such thing as a stupid question. You either know the answer or you don't and if you don't it is simply because you have never had need to ask the question before.
Don't take offence by Andy, he is very knowledgeable and I don't think he meant any harm by it.
