Farmers' Madness

Maybe we need to introduce exams for MP's to pass before they can be considered for the job.
Currently only qualification seems to be ability to talk bullshite.

They do have exams - they spend 3 years at uni not only learning how to speak bullshite but how to convince people it's true!

Eton then Oxford before becoming PM.

Nothing against Eton or Oxford but its become an insular club, the same principles and rhetoric.

That is slowly changing, but over 30% of Tory MPs went to Oxbridge

Yes,,i noticed they kept the mines and shipyards open........In Germany

Um, that is because Germany wasn't ruled by the British Nasty Party, not because the EU favoured them.

"The 2014-2020 European Structural Investment Fund (ESIF) will inject more than £437m into the North East. Although the funds are held by Government, we play an important role to ensure these funds are used to deliver both the European goals of smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and support our Strategic Economic Plan. " Source

You can wave goodbye to all that!

n the 1980s the Tories destroyed industry in the north. The EU helped save these areas

Apparently those regions which have been rebuilt would suffer the most from Brexit and it would be almost impossible to rebuild again.

Sad really that people like durhamplumber and gasbanni that are in the North think its clever not to educate themselves on Brexit.

Durhamplumber was recently heard saying 'knowledge is stupid'

If they introduced that for this forum, nobody would be on here.

A number of large scale horticultural businesses have said they will scale back UK production and move investment overseas next year if they do not receive a clear signal from government this month that they will increase the seasonal worker pilot scheme immediately.”

Ah well, less immigrants so there are a few positives.

Robot were going to make these jobs obsolete anyway so no great loss.
