I note no one has actually answered my question.

Does anyone honestly think that (the tattoos) was a good idea?

I take it your pink mohawk (thank you for using the correct name) has grown out; the tattoos won't.
 
Red - it was pillar box red. And black tips. It was a cool hairstyle :)

Nah, short back and sides & clean shaven and a body that shows too much time in the gym - the tats are what make him interesting!! Grins.
In all honesty, I don't really care what he looks like, tats or no tats. I don't know him, never met him so couldn't care less. Each to their own, he's the one who has to like them for the rest of his life, not me!

Not very sympathetic of one usually so caring.
What about more severe cases of self-harm?

He won't, though, will he?
 
Trouble is, that fella is going to stand next to someone who has spent a wee bit of money on his own tattoo and feel a real plonker. As said, hair styles, clothes, jewellery are non-permanent statements.

He may love em! You or I will never know.

And is it self-harming? Or is that just your conservative view on tats?
I do know a lot of people with tattoo's. From one tat to sleeves. I can't say any of them have ever mentioned that they are harming themselves. Nor any regrets, even now 30+ years after having them done. A couple of people I know still get more added even tho way past being a youngster.
Although I wouldn't want sleeves or any more tats myself, I don't think bad or feel sad for my mates. All are well-rounded people, kind people. All successful in careers, own houses, most have children & partners. None of them are oiks or need my sympathy!

Fine not to like them, understood, but that's where it should stop imo. :)

The tattoo was a gift from his girlfriend in Hong Kong ( he was a merchant sailor with a girl in every port ). It was many years before he discovered the "design" was Chinese text making a comment about his cheating on girlfriends.

IMHO, he looks like he's been carried by his mates, comatose, into every tattoo place in magaluf.

Personally, i'd rather have tats like the jock, that the scarecrow.
 
I like the way the singer lad has marked out where his muscles will go when he grows up. No pecs again though. Shameful :ROFLMAO:
