Ferroli F24 - Central Heating Cutting Out

Hi

I have a problem with the CH in my Ferroli F24. The DHW is fine, but when I turn on the CH, after a few minutes, the BAR will creep up from around 1.2 to 2.6, then the CH will cut off.

I think that this might be something to do with the pressure vessel with needs pumping back up to 1 BAR, but just wanted to check before attempting it!

Any idea what else might be wrong if that does not solve it?

No it is not the expansion vessel it is your pump, either it has seized or not working or its not getting power when it should, most common is a seized pump, with the boiler turned off place a towel below the pump and remove the large screw in the centre , some water will come out, put a screwdriver in the hole and locate the pump shaft and see if it turns freely, if this is ok you will need to see if you have 240v AC at the pump terminals when there is a call for CH
