I have a ferroli sigma 40-60 that is being a bit tempramental. I have followed the check section and have power to the boiler and to the overheat thermostat but it still doesn’t seem to work. The manual indicates I should check air pressure switch next but it doesn’t say how, any ideas? Furthermore if I wiggle the full sequence control PCB the boiler lights up until the thermostat then closes it down because the room temperature has been achieved or the return water is hot enough to warrant the boiler not being on. The boiler lockout light does not come on
So my questions are
1) Am I wasting my time looking at the air pressure switch
2) If not how do I check it
3) Does it seem that it is the full sequence control PCB
4) Could it be the connection between the gas valve and PCB is loose
5) Or is it probably the honeywell gas valve underneath
Any help would be appreciated
The system is airfree and sludge free
