The thing that p****s me off more and more these days is the way the sound level changes from one programme to another, this is on sky and its a pain in the a**e. not annoying enough to make me want to not do a widdle on mr Murdoch he can't be that bad otherwise why would that lovely young lady have married him ?

That would be the job of the person's sitting in the Transmission suites job to monitor all output levels and adjust accordingly, perhaps they were on their tea break?
though you will find it happening more frequently than it used to on the beeb these days, i swear it's due to cutbacks and morale there.

what sort of film was that you was watching Adam? you could have turned the sound down and just read the sub titles

Wot, surround titles? Only with the Exorcist I imagine !

Sony has Auto sound level? Does it not work in surround pollution?
