Hi everyone I'm finally getting around to ordering building materials. There are so many suppliers can anyone recommend ones to avoid/use etc. Any advice would be great.

I'm looking for:

440 x 215 x 140mm solid blocks
440 x 215 x 140mm hollow blocks
Cement
MOT Type 1 aggregate

Needs to delivered.

plus a few other bits.

Many thanks for your help,

Ed

Any firm that stocks them will be OK

The materials will be from from similar manufacturers or suppliers locally so the only difference will be on price.

Ask for a discount at boulder's merchants. Prices from the sheds will tend to be non-negotiable but may be on offer.

I'm near Fleet in Hampshire. I went with Buildbase in the end. Phoned them up and managed to get the solid blocks a lot cheaper than quoted on the website which seemed like a good deal.
