Finding a replacement toilet seat

Morning everyone,

My mum's loo seat needs replacing but having googled lots of toilet seats I still can't seem to find any that look like this. Any ideas what sort of fitting I should be looking for? I'm stumped.

Unless you know the make of the toilet or seat, in my experience it's best to take it off and take it on a tour of all the usual suspects, B&Q, Wickes etc where you can compare them like for like, they often have many on display, it's not just the type of fixing to the pan that varies, the width & depth and distance from the fixings to the pan opening all vary as do the seats, I'm afraid on more than one occasion I've had the boxes open in the shops to really see how the seat compares with any possible suitors.

Why does it need to look like that ? All you need is it to fit.
