Finding false tripping contacts

Can u out the pir on its own zone ? Or is it part of the door loop lol
Its a while since I had the panel off but I think I remember that each zone had a limit of X number of magnetic contacts and 1 PIR
could a failing one be affected by the light as mentioned.

Jesus ….you said it was a door contact , now you’re saying you also a pir on the same zone ! I would be looking at this first as you said it happens when it is hot ! ….

You are right - sorry but I as I have had problems with door/ window contacts in the past I automatically thought of them and overlooked the PIR which I have never had any issues with.
So in circumstances like mine with intermittent false trigger on a zone with any number of magnet contacts and just 1 PIR then you would always head straight to the PIR and start there

Here is a photo of inside. Those two blacks were twisted together with tape on them and everything was crammed in the space.

For now until I have more time could I just stick a piece of insulating tape on the sensor. It actually points at something that already has a magnetic contact anyway so I could do away with it all together.

I didn't bother with the tamper as its out of reach.
So as a temporary bypass do I just tape up the sensor
