Sounds like you would be better off investing in a pressurized system say like a megaflow then you wouldnt need to worry about the water pressure probs and just use standard theromstatic showers. probally work out cheaper to in the long run!
rememeber one often overlooked advantage of an electric shower is it means you can still shower when your central heating breaks down. This is especailly true for those who have gone for combis for thier hot water (to save the space needed for a hot water tank generally) and therefore can no longer have an immersion heater as backup.
