Fix crack on patio brick wall. DIY or not?

Hello,

I have the crack that appears in the pictures attached in a patio wall and I am considering fixing it before it becomes bigger. This wall separates my patio from the one from my neighbour, is not the one that sustains my home. So I think that it is potentially a DIY work. However, I have no clue regarding how this should be fixed. I have minor DIY experience painting, doing some pipe work and in electronics but I never touched building related activities. Could someone explain what I should do to fix the wall? Is this truly a DIY work?

I think it’s probably the foundation that needs attention

Pointing the crack is DIY. It won't stop it getting bigger though

Diagnosing and fixing the cause may not be DIY.
