Hi now weather is picking up I want to sort render on house. What is the best way to fix? It was repainted 3 years ago so I don't know if it's the paint flaking or actual render? Render is on bay window only. If I get all flaking render off can I just paint after or is it going need a specialist?
Any help would be most grateful

I would suggest that you look a bit deeper than the surface, blown render ie render that has parted company with the substrate eg brick needs to be hacked off and re done. Patches are fine but can be a pain to to look the same, to test your render tap over it, it will sound hollow on the blown bits.
The issue comes when you start to hack of the blown render, it can peel away larger areas of barely adhered render with it, I would always use some render grip on any patches to allow the render to stick properly.
