Fixing a MFI larder cabinet

We have a 500mm MFI Larder cabinet - professionally fitted before MFI went out of business and it only extends to around 8" (22cm) when the runners are almost as long again. I am loathe to 'get a man in' as I believe that someting is stopping the movement. Does anyone out there have any instruction leaflets for the 'Space Cream' full height larder unit - I haven't dissasembled it but as I get older it is increasingly difficult to access.
