Monkeh, you have the intellect of a dipstick.

Feel free to think so. I, however, do shoot and know how to handle a firearm.

Thank you, if you do shoot, I imagine you are always on your own. Because anyone trained in gun handling would only go shooting with you once.

I wouldn't point a weapon at anyone if there was ammunition around. Gun shows like that depicted in the video are an exception to most handling rules. There is simply no chance of any ammunition being present.

Exactly, I'm quite amazed that someone can't understand that simple rule.

I understand it very well, albeit with a small modification (willing, not going). There are exceptions. That you cannot understand that is amazing to me.

I recall pumping up an unloaded .22 pellet gun, by my brother, and I told him to be careful, the all of a sudden, it discharged, into my wall, and took a chunk of plaster out. Missed a TV by inches, but left a huge hole in the wall, that would kill someone, and he didn't even press the trigger. And the gun was checked, unlocked, not loaded, to my mind.

I doubt the blast of air would kill someone, but that's a prime example of why you don't point a pumped, cocked, or otherwise ready to discharge airgun at anyone. Pellet or no pellet.

In the real world, the military, police etc are always pointing loaded weapons at people. Sometimes inadvertently, often deliberately.

If you are a member of a civilian gun club, there is probably never ever a reason to point a weapon at anyone, but as stated there are times when it either can't be helped or there is a good and genuine reason to do it deliberately.

Never say never...

...And do you really, honestly believe there would be any live ammunition inside that building, let alone in the gun? Exceptions can be made.

Anyone who doesn't know how to clear a firearm shouldn't be handling it in the first place.
Monkeh is right, and that is why there are never any accidents with guns, especially in the US
