I didnt mention anything about you bring new (or not).

And then the same post went on to say:
'No smugness' (that contradicts what you said in the above sentence, which is smug).

I then commented:
'You have contradicted yourself in the same post' (which is true).

Also note, I have made no mention of you being new, so your response is non sequitor.
