Hi,
in the middle of an extensive 1930's bungalow refurb & extension. Had to re-do the concrete slab part of it which was an old extension (and previous outhouse & coal shed!).
Will be putting underfloor heating in throughout.
Have 210mm of floor to build up from top of new floor slab to finished floor height. As using underfloor & planning on tiling this bit, will be using ditra to help prevent cracks, etc.
Trying to work out what thickness insulation to put down. Guessing ditra & tiles will be approx 20mm, liquid screed 50mm, which would leave 140mm insulation? Does this make sense?
Cheers for any advice
