Hi folks,
I have few wobbly tiles in our kitchen that I want either repair and then put vinyl liner flooring over them.

Do I need to take out the wobbly tiles and fill them up and then put the liner or can I put grout to secure them. I don’t want to take all the tiles out.

If it only a couple of tiles, you can remove the grout. If you can lift the tile(s), you can re-bed them. It might be the case that you can "glue" them down with something such as CT1, and then use the same to fill the grout lines.

Just be aware, your tile pattern will end up showing through a vinyl floor covering, which might make it look a bit weird

Thanks guys. I was going to hire a someone to do this small job, but now feel that I can do this with CT1. There only 2/3 tiles are loose.
Just one more thing to ask. There's one tile that has come off, and as a result the top is exposed, how do I fill it it and make level with the rest of the tiles. What filler do I use. Is it better to have a thick vinal flooring so that tile patterns are not seen.

We put vinyl over a tiled floor, I fully expect it to show through, so does the whole of Google and the vinyl supplier but it never did. We didn't bother doing anything with the tiles either, you would have never known.

Just re bed the tiles. Do it correct way now before laying the flooring on top...
