Hi, We are going to get some old floorboards sanded and possibly gaps filled. Any views on whether it will look strange to only fill some gaps e.g. not all the boards have wide gaps / tongues missing. And one or two boards have been lifted before and have screws i.e. for rad pipes below. I just wondered if anyone has a floor with only some gaps filled and if it looked ok. Thank you

I think it would look ridiculous with only some gaps filled. I think it will also look ridiculous due to some boards been cut for the rads. The are ways you could fill all the gaps using resin and sawdust from your sanding, and it would look better as well as preventing draughts, however it is not recommended because if there is any movement in the boards the filler will crack.

We've filled gaps between boards with black silicon before, which can minimise the visual difference between filled and not filled

You could use filler strips of wood; depending on the size of the gap, a different wood from the floor would do the job and give it a different tone.
