But there isn't any problem with pressure build up. Gauge stay at same low (green) level.
any air that gets into the boiler should be removed by the AAV. If a pocket gets into the hex and stuck, the temp will rise very quickly.

Can this be done without emptying the system?I'd clean the filter out.
Close valves, 1/4 turn valves, open vent or drain into bucket before trying to slacken cover, there shold be a spanner provided. Lying around somewhere. Can this be done without emptying the system?
Oh close valves when eating off presumably

#9 looks like a magnetic filter to me!If there's a magnetic filter, with valves, that they are not closed.
Check boiler pressure, you may have top it up to ~ 1.3bar, you will have lost a litre or so of water from the filter.Cleaned the fitter out. Straight forward enough. Lots of ****e came out. Replaced water. Now radiators very noisy!
Yeah done that.Check boiler pressure, you may have top it up to ~ 1.3bar, you will have lost a litre or so of water from the filter.
Thoughts on this? Could the valve on that radiator not being fully open be the thing that's causing the obstacle?Should the radiator in the room with the thermostat be fully open? I don't have a TRV on it, just a knob with no numbers, but I don't have it fully open. It isn't near closed or anything, the rad gets hot.
Also vent air regularly from the filter for the next few days. The boiler AAV may be have been shut off by the installer or service person.Yeah done that.
